A number of avenues are available to researchers requesting research support or endorsement from ACEM.

ACEM ED Epidemiology Network (EDEN)

Using large scale, routinely collected, data to equitably improve ED care and save lives across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

ACEM Clinical Trials Network

Aims to understand the issues impacting on emergency medicine and to evaluate our education and training programs. We also coordinate ACEM's clinical trials and epidemiology networks.

ACEM Research and Evaluation Activities

We seek to understand our emergency medicine workforce, the patient journey and outcomes, and to what extent our training programs are meeting the needs of trainees, patients and employers.

Annual Site Census

ACEM’s Annual Site Census captures comprehensive emergency department activity, staffing, and resource data from ACEM-accredited emergency departments across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

ACEM Membership and Trainee Demographics and Workforce

ACEM conducts annual profiling of the demographics and workforce of Fellows of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEMs), FACEM trainees and Emergency Medicine Associateship Training Program (EMATP) graduates and trainees across Australia, Aotearoa New Zealand, and internationally.
